- Blueberries: A half cup of blueberries. Again, you can use fresh berries if you have them, but frozen ones work just as well.
- Milk: Whatever type of milk you have in the fridge will be perfect for this recipe! Cow’s milk, almond milk, or oat milk are all great options.
- Greek Yogurt: Any type of thick yogurt can be used to make smoothies. I like to use protein-packed whole milk or low fat plain (unsweetened) Greek yogurt.
- Cinnamon: I love this warm spice in sweet treats like breakfast smoothies. Cinnamon makes this recipe special.
- Honey: I use a bit of honey to make my smoothie perfectly sweet! The actual amount of honey you’ll need can vary based on the sweetness of your berries, so adjust this ingredient to taste. Instead of honey, feel free to use maple syrup, agave nectar, or dates.

Greens: Baby spinach is my favorite green to add to fruit smoothies. Keep in mind that adding green to this otherwise pink drink will turn it a brown color, but it will still be delicious!

While you can use either, I actually prefer to use frozen fruit when making smoothies. If the fruit is frozen, you won’t need to add any ice to give the drink a slushy texture.

Do I have to add honey?

- ½ cup (125 g) Greek yogurt
