Another interesting version of my beloved hummus, but this time it’s made with avocado!
You guys probably already know how much I love hummus, it’s like one of these things that I wouldn’t mind eating every day! In Jordan, we have hummus for breakfast with falafel for example, or just with bread and sweet black tea. But it’s also commonly served for lunch and dinner as Mezza with loads of different middle eastern dishes. Middle Eastern food is probably my favourite cuisine, there are so many possibilities, you have to check out my collection of Middle Eastern recipes that I’ve shared on this site so far.
Some time ago I discovered that adding avocado to hummus is one of the best things ever! The texture becomes super smooth and creamy, and it goes very well with the chickpeas and the garlic! You should also check out my pumpkin hummus recipe, it’s definitely one of my favourite dips!
Avocado hummus makes a lovely light snack, it’s great to pack some for a picnic or even to take to work with you. Eat it with some pita bread and enjoy!
