This fruity Christmas Punch is the best holiday drink that kids and adults will love! This mocktail is festive, sparkly, and delicious. Make it with cranberry pomegranate juice, pineapple juice, and lemon-lime soda. You can make it a cocktail and add your favorite booze, or keep it non-alcoholic and kid-friendly.
This Christmas punch has been my favorite holiday drink for years, it even became a family tradition. I serve it up in a large punch bowl, and extra ice on the side for the family or friends to help themselves at Christmas parties.
I love that it’s fruity, not overly sweet, and it’s sparkly which makes it festive and beautiful.

Ingredients In Christmas Punch
Here’s what you need to make this delicious cranberry punch:
Complete list of ingredients and amounts can be found in the recipe card below.
- Cranberry Juice: You can either go for cranberry juice blend (not cranberry cocktail), or cranberry pomegranate juice. I like Ocean Spray brand.
- Pineapple Juice: To add some sweetness and fruitiness, I add Dole pineapple juice (not canned). If you don’t like pineapple, use orange juice instead.
- Extracts: To add some holiday flavor to your punch, add a splash of pure vanilla extract or almond extract.
- Soda: I used Sprite lemon-lime soda, but you can do ginger ale like Canada Dry, or go for Sierra Mist.
- Garnishes: I like to slice up an orange and a lime, and add either fresh cranberries or pomegranate arils (I prefer pomegranate), and some fresh mint leaves or rosemary sprigs.
- Ice: You will also need some ice cubes to keep the punch nice and cold.
How To Make Christmas Punch
- To a large punch bowl, a large pitcher, or a drink dispenser, add cranberry juice, pineapple juice, and soda. Then add the extract of choice and give the mixture a stir.
- Add ice cubes, and top with sliced fruit, and herbs.
- Serve immediately or within an hour to make sure that it does not go flat.
Tip!
Add booze for an adult version of the punch! Go for rum, brandy, vodka, champagne or prosseco. You will need about 1 cup of hard alcohol like rum or vodka or brandy, and 2 cups if using champagne or prosecco.
Recipe Tips
- Use Chilled Ingredients. I always make sure to put all of the juices and soda in the fridge for at least a few hours before making this punch. This way, you’ll be adding less ice and your punch won’t be watered down.
- Making Ahead. If you want to make this ahead, you can mix everything up except for the soda and the ice a few hours before your party.
FAQs
Add about 1 cup of hard alcohol like rum or vodka or brandy, or 2 cups of champagne or prosecco. Add more if you like a stronger drink.
I love my large punch bowl, but you can use a large pitcher (or 2 smaller ones), or a drink dispenser with a cup or a towel to catch any drips!
I don’t recommend buying 100% unsweetened cranberry juice because it’s too tart, go for either a cranberry juice blend (not a cranberry cocktail), or cranberry pomegranate juice.
This simple but beautiful centerpiece is perfect for all of your Christmas parties! Don’t forget to pin this recipe to easily find it later.
