Rinse and drain the rice in a colander, and it’s ready to go in the Instant Pot.
Add 1 tsp of vegetable oil just to grease the bottom of the pot. This will prevent any rice from sticking to the bottom.
Cover with water. The ratio is 1:1
Add a pinch of salt, quickly stir the rice.
Cover with the lid. Press on MANUAL or PRESSURE COOK on high, and set the timer at 25 minutes.
Allow the Instant Pot to come to pressure (it will take about 10 minutes) and cook for 25 minutes, then naturally release the steam. Fluff with a fork, and serve.

Notes
Always rinse the rice with cold water! Do not skip this step to avoid getting mushy rice.
The ratio of rice to liquid in the Instant Pot is always 1:1.
If using a 6 quart IP, make a minimum of 1 cup of rice. If you're using 8 quart IP, then make a minimum of 1.5 cups of rice.
You can use vegetable stock instead of water for extra flavor.
