Ingredients
▢
1 (15 ounce/400g)
can
chickpeas
▢
1
tablespoon
extra virgin olive oil
▢
1
teaspoon
smoked paprika
▢
1
teaspoon
ground cumin
▢
1
teaspoon
turmeric
▢
½
teaspoon
chili powder
▢
1
teaspoon
salt
▢
¼
teaspoon
ground black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the Air Fryer to 375°F (190°C).
In a medium-sized bowl, toss the chickpeas with olive oil, paprika, cumin, turmeric, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
Place the chickpeas in the Air Fryer basket, and cook for 10 minutes shaking halfway through.
The chickpeas are done when they’re crunchy and no longer moist.
Allow to cool, and eat at room temperature.
Notes
If you're using canned chickpeas, then
drain them well
for crunchier chickpeas. You can rinse them if you like, use a colander to do that.
Shake the Air Fryer basket every 5 minutes
.
The longer you cook the chickpeas for, the crunchier they will be but be careful not to burn them.
Feel free to change things up a little, and
add different seasonings
such as sweet paprika, curry powder, garlic powder, onion powder, herbs, etc.
