Ingredients

  • 500 ml Milk
  • 20 grams goat's butter
  • 1 onion whole
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 9 cloves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 100 grams white breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Stud the onion all over with cloves.
  •  Simmer milk with butter, onion and cloves, garlic and bay leaves.
  • Strain and return liquid into the pan. Add breadcrumbs and stir for a few more minutes. Season with nutmeg and salt and serve.

Notes

This recipe can be made 3 days in advance, and can be reheated either in the microwave or on the hob.
