This delicious and authentic 1905 salad was made famous at the Columbia restaurant and is so simple to make at home with this recipe that includes a tangy garlic dressing made from scratch.
Make the Dressing: In a small bowl or a jar with a lid, combine the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk or shake ot combine. Taste and adjust to your taste.
Put the chopped iceberg lettuce in a large salad bowl. Add the julienned turkey (or ham) and Swiss cheese to the bowl. Mix in the sliced tomatoes and green olives.
