Let's make it!

This easy recipe is perfect to feed a crowd without heating up your kitchen.

1

Cook ground beef in a large skillet. Add onion, garlic, and seasonings, and cook.

2

Make the sauce. Add the sauce, tomato paste, sugar, and water.

3

Mix together the cheeses and egg to combine.

4

Assemble. Do meat sauce, noodles, and repeat.

5

Layering Noodles. My Crockpot typically holds four, but depending on the size of yours, you may need to break some pieces to make them fit.

6

Cover and cook. Place the lid on the slow cooker and set your timer to 4-6 hours.

7

For the last 15 minutes, sprinkle a topping of mozzarella cheese and let it melt.

Shredding your own block of cheese is the way to go! Pre shredded packaged mozzarella comes with anti-clumping agents which can taste a bit funny as well as it doesn’t allow for easy melting.
