Ingredients

  • cup buttermilk powder
  • 3 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives
  • 2 teaspoons dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • To make the seasoning, whisk all of the ingredients together until well combined.
  • If you want a finer mixture, you can blend it in a food processor or a spice grinder until you reach the consistency that you want.

Notes

  • To make a dressing, mix 3 tablespoons of ranch seasoning with 1 cup mayonnaise and 1 cup buttermilk. Find my ranch dressing recipe here.
  • For a dip, mix this recipe with 1½ cups sour cream and cup of buttermilk.
  • This recipe makes about 9 tablespoons of seasoning. 3 tablespoons (1 0z) of this seasoning are equal to one store-bought packet.
  • Store the ranch seasoning in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
