In a bowl using a fork mash together blue cheese and buttermilk, add sour cream, mayo, sugar, lemon, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.
If you need to thin out the dressing, add a tablespoon of buttermilk or water.
- Use any type of blue cheese that you enjoy. If you aren't sure, look for gorgonzola, danish blue, or stilton cheeses.
- Whole milk can be used if you don't have buttermilk, but buttermilk adds to the delicious tangy flavor of the dressing.
- To Store: Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
