Equipment

Ingredients

  • ½ cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces sliced deli meat, a mixture of pepperoni, salami and sliced ham
  • 2 cups (250g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • marinara for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C.
  • Roll out dough into 12 x 15 or18 inch rectangle. Spread the pizza sauce, then layer with the meat, and then the cheeses.
  • Roll up the dough as tightly as possible, starting on the long side. Place the rolled stromboli on a baking sheet, seam side down, then score the top with a paring knife to create vent holes. Drizzle and brush olive oil, and sprinkle a little parmesan on top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Allow the stromboli to cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving with a side of marinara sauce.

Notes

  • To Store: Place leftover stromboli in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 5 days. Reheat gently in the oven, air fryer, or microwave.
  • Switch up the ingredients using your favorite cooked meats, cheeses, and cooked vegetables.
  • Add more flavor: Sprinkle your favorite seasonings on the outside of the stromboli before baking.
  • For easy clean up, line your pan with foil or parchment paper.
